Dr. Matina Thomaidou is the VP, Head of Data Science @ Dataseat
She is also co-founder of Greek Women Do Tech
Before that, Dr. Thomaidou worked abroad at Facebook Ireland and IBM Ireland as a Lead Data Scientist.
Her journey also involved Microsoft Norway, Ecole Polytechnique in France, and Accenture Greece working on business insights and analytics projects.
Her BSc and MSc studies were in Computer Science and she holds a PhD in Machine Learning for Online Advertising (UOA and AUEB).
Dr. Thomaidou’s vision is to inspire younger women that are just entering the STEM world and women who want to make a switch in their careers closer to the Tech side.
